Michael Gyda, PhD. Dr. Gyda brings over twenty years experience in the life science education arena, teaching courses and laboratory workshops to a wide range of students from undergraduate, non-science majors through professional school. His scientific expertise includes molecular-cell biology, biochemistry, developmental biology, genetics, genomics, and neuroscience. Dr. Gyda is an innovator in the education sector, as well as a seasoned veteran of the scientific method, accompanied by a strong publication record and background in the clinical sciences. He has held adjunct faculty appointments at several universities and professional schools, including the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gyda received his doctoral degree from The University of Pennsylvania, and has contributed extensively to advancing the importance of science education and awareness at all levels.
